New to volunteering?

In Azerbaijani law, volunteering is socially useful work done without pay, and under-18s can volunteer with a parent’s or guardian’s consent. Before you apply, check:

  • That you’re eligible: age, studies, sometimes citizenship
  • How much time it takes, and on which days and hours
  • Whether you’ll sign an agreement with the organiser (the law provides for one)
  • Whether a certificate is promised, and on what condition
  • That you’re applying on the organiser’s own site, never through a repost
