Before you rely on itThe licence is for non-commercial, educational use only: you may not ship paid client work with it. It runs a year at a time and must be renewed while you are still enrolled; JetBrains emails a reminder a fortnight before it lapses. After you graduate it becomes a 40% graduate discount for two years, not continued free access. If you already claimed the GitHub Student Developer Pack, this is included there and you need not apply twice.
